The cricket season in England finally draws to a close with the last one-day international against the Windies.

The previous match was not so much won, but saved by England, and more precisely by Moeen Ali once again. After the away side posted an impressive first innings total, England’s batsman were falling to Alzarri Joseph who took five wickets. But then Ali managed to knock the ball around again, putting England just over the required number of runs needed to win via the Duckworth-Lewis method when rain stopped play.

That result means England have already won the series, so the West Indies will be playing to get at least one victory before leaving.

England v West Indies is on Sky Cricket at 12.00.
