England’s test series against South Africa was a success for England and for several individuals in particular; from Joe Root getting his first test series success as captain, to Moeen Ali getting the first ever test hat-trick at the Oval, and James Anderson bowling from his own personally-named end at Old Trafford.

Now they take on the West Indies at Edgbaston and prepare for another first: England’s first ever day-night test, using the pink ball, resulting at a 14.00 start. Can England keep their current momentum up?

You certainly hope England can win this match for at least one good reason: England will have to face another one in the forthcoming Ashes tour in December.

England v West Indies, First Test, is on Sky Sports Cricket and Sport Sports Main Event at 13.00 and 13.30 respectively.
