Preview – Cricket: West Indies v England, 1st Test

West Indies England

England’s first test series of the year sees them going to Barbados.

The first of three matches against the Windies, Joe Root will be planning to capitalise following their last test series victories over in Sri Lanka and at home to India. Root will have some issues with team selection as Mark Wood is out due to injury, and will be trying to figure out who is best to fill the opening batting spots. The West Indies captain, Jason Holder, has had a good history against England, scoring his debut test century against them.

West Indies v England is on Sky Main Event and Sky Cricket at 13.00 (play starts 14.00).
