There are two matches on today, with England’s role in the tournament hanging in the balance.
First Pakistan take on already eliminated Afghanistan at Headingley, then New Zealand face Australia at Lord’s. New Zealand lost their first game of the tournament, to Pakistan on Wednesday. If Pakistan manage to win against Afghanistan, and the chances are that they will, then they will overtake England in the table. The Kiwis and the Aussies are currently fighting for the top spot.
It looks increasingly likely that England may not make the knock-out stages after all, if results fail to go their way.
Pakistan v Afghanistan is on Sky Main Event and Sky Cricket at 10.00 (play starts at 10.30).
New Zealand v Australia is on Sky Main Event from 13.00 (play starts at 13.30).
