Dave’s video game comedy returns for a second series – and it’s even managed to spawn a spin-off.
For those who missed the first series, Dara O Briain and resident games expert Ellie Gibson keep an eye on two celebrity teams competing against each other in a range of video games. These teams are led by comedians Steve McNeil, a gaming fanatic, and Sam Pamphilon, a gaming “muggle”, both of whom created the show during the Edinburgh Fringe before it came to TV, much like fellow Dave comedy Taskmaster.
This week, Sara Pascoe and Richard Osman join the regulars as they play among other games Micro Machines and Block Block. Also, after this has finished a new show fronted by Gibson starts, Go 8 Bit: DLC, in which she, McNeil and Pamphilon review games and interview guests.
