Tonight’s episode looks into some of the latest archaeological discoveries made in the north.

Prof. Alice Roberts examines the some of the findings at the Roman site of Vindolanda, including writing tablets and swords. There is also a long-lost monastery found on the Scottish island of Iona built by St. Columba, and a Bronze Age weapons hoard is discovered in east Scotland.
