Back for a third series, Dick and Angel Strawbridge continue making their French dream a reality.
Having packed in their Southend flat for a chateau in France, the couple have converted the derelict building into the castle home and business they’ve always dreamed about but there is still plenty to do.
With more than 20 rooms still in a state of serious disrepair, Angel wants to create a special retreat for the whole family – with plans for a stripes and safari theme. But do they have a serious roof problem? Is Angel’s purchase of a clapped-out Citroen van a good idea? And what have the local tree surgeons done to the lime trees at the front of the building?
