For only the second time in Later history, Jools will have a co-host with him at the helm for this hour-long show, which takes on a new refreshed feel and attitude to the 30-minute programme… Think of it as it’s slightly more laid-back sibling. This week his co-host is Jessie Ware, who is no stranger to the Later studio.
Jessie has three top-ten albums under her belt and also hosts, with her mum, an award winning podcast called Table Manners. Alongside the music, Jools and Jessie will be chatting about the magic of vinyl with Liam Gallagher, finding out why he loves the format, and the show will explore the subject further in a short film.
Jools and Jessie will be introducing performances from Liam Gallagher, Rex Orange County, Amyl And The Sniffers, Kojey Radical and Celeste.
To round off the show, Jessie will pick a performance from the extensive Later archive, and she and Jools will take a look at some of the Australian artists who’ve made the trip from down under to perform in the studio over the years.
