Preview – Football: Women’s World Cup Qualifier – England v Wales

England Wales

The qualifications for the Women’s World Cup get tense tonight as England and Wales face each other.

Currently Wales lead the group, but this mainly because they have played one more game than England, and if the English win they will top the group while still having a game in hand. Not only that, but they currently have a massive goal difference, having won all three of their previous qualifiers by four goals or more, all of which were also clean sheets. Wales matches meanwhile have been much closer, so England are probably favourites going into the game.

England v Wales is on BBC Two at 18.45 (kick-off 19.00).
