When radio shows move to television, most of the time they are comedies. However, the latest show to make the move is an arts programme.
Radio 4’s Front Row has been running on weekdays since 1998, going out just after long-running soap opera The Archers. The programme reviews the latest goings on in music, art and film, as well as featuring interviews and live performances.
Giles Coren presents the first edition, which features DJ Nihal Arthanayake, comic and writer Viv Groskop, and alternative rock band Wolf Alice.
Front Row is on BBC Two at 19.30.
