Gemini Man
Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Danny Zakarweski and Will Smith as Henry Brogan / Junior and Benedict Wong as Baron

Will Smith stars in Ang Lee’s action-thriller as both an over-the-hill DIA hitman and a younger clone of himself who’s sent on a mission to kill him.

When the normally accomplished government assassin Henry Brogan (Smith) botches a mission, he decides it’s time to hang up his sniper and retire to a sleepy bay town to live out his days chilling in a rocking chair by the fire on his porch. Steady on, Henry, you’re only 51.

Naturally, he’s not out of action for long. When he reconnects with an old friend, he finds out some rather disturbing information about his old employer, and the fact that some of the individuals he was hired to kill might not have been so deserving of their untimely deaths after all.

When the DIA learn that Henry knows about their dodgy dealings, they’re keen to silence him once and for all. Clay Varris (Clive Owen), head of the mysterious ‘GEMINI’ military unit, sends out his best assassin to do the job. It just so happens that assassin is Henry himself, about 25 years younger. Also starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Benedict Wong and Douglas Hodge.

Gemini Man- Wednesday at 9:00pm on Film 4.
