Sky may have adapted David Walliams’s Ratburger, but the BBC are still continuing to adapt his other stories – this is the sixth of his books to make it to TV.
The story follows a boy named Jack (Kit Cooper), whose grandpa (Tom Courtenay) was once a Spitfire ace during the Second World War. Now he has Alzhimer’s and is living in a vile retirement home. Jack thus plans to get him out of the home so that he can fly his beloved Spitfire one last time.
