This year’s competition for the nation’s best and brightest chefs continues with the third regional heat pitting three new-comers against eachother for the chance to cook at the NHS’s 70 year celebration. After seeing Londoner James Cochrane and Yorkshire-born Dan Fletcher through to the finals, this week we are in Scotland.
This week, the Great British Menu pits three promising Scottish chefs – self-confessed culinary geek Ben Reade, highland-born perfectionist Lorna McNee and classically trained Ross Bryans – against one another in their efforts to impress this week’s veteran judge. As per the show’s normal format, the week kicks off with starters.
Great British Menu – Monday 7:30pm on BBC2.
