Returning for a second series, we follow six kids who while gifted academically are hampered by their family’s low income.
We rejoin the three boys who appeared in the last series: Liam from Newcastle, Jamarley from north-west London, and Kian from Hartlepool. Liam dreams of going to Cambridge, but his own personal issues are causing inner conflict. Jamarley hopes music will be his way to avoid poverty, while a leaky ceiling affects his homework. Elsewhere, Kian attempts to run for the job of head boy at his school.
