People talk about “an eye for an eye”. This is the story the biggest attempt at such a feat.
After the Holocaust, which killed six million Jews, many of the victims and their families felt that most of the people responsible would never face justice. Thus the poet Abba Kovner set up a secret organisation known as “The Avengers” to take “an eye for an eye” – by poisoning Germany’s water supplies in order to kill six million Germans, in order to get their revenge.
This documentary features archive footage and interviews with those involved, all of whom are now in their 90s.
