Tonight Chris Packham hosts the search for the 20th century’s greatest icon, looking at four scientists.
His nominations for the public to vote for are double-Nobel Prize winning Marie Curie, Albert “E=mc2” Einstein, mathematical and computing pioneer Alan Turing, and the Chinese scientist Tu Youyou, who lead a secret project to cure malaria during the reign of Chairman Mao.
Tomorrow Kathleen Turner champions four entertainers: David Bowie, Charlie Chaplin, Billie Holiday and Marilyn Monroe.
