David Hockney has been chosen to make a new stained-glass window for Westminster Abbey, which is odd.

It’s odd because Westminster Abbey is owned by the Queen, and given that Hockney has in the past refused both a knighthood and to paint the monarch, it seems strange that he should be chosen for this job. It’s even odder when you realised that he is new to making stained glass.

Imagine is on BBC One at 22.45.
