The London Fire Service are constantly under huge strain to keep the public safe and after the tragic events at Grenfell tower, the dangerous nature of their work has been brought to the forefront of our minds.
This series follows the London firefighters over the course of a year as they respond to call-outs and begins with the recounts of the fire at Grenfell from the men and women working all night to save those trapped inside.
