Preview – Inventing the Impossible: The Big Life Fix

Inventing the Impossible

After its success last season, the BBC’s Inventing the Impossible series returns for a second run of episodes, with the team of inventors hoping to provide life-changing help to those who need it most. This episode will mark the first of a run of four episodes and will see the team challenged by a 40-year-old man who wants to snowboard again despite being disabled after being caught up in an avalanche.

Britain’s best and brightest inventors take on a series of challenges which aim to help people with disorders and disabilities live the lives they want to. This week, 40-year-old ex-snowboarder, Graham, challenges Yusuf Muhammed to help him get back on the slopes, despite the former having been left severely disabled after a freak snowboarding accident. Elsewhere, the inventors are challenged to help a young man who was born with a deformity to his hand to realise his dream of becoming a hair dresser and we meet Alexander, who’s incredibly sensitive skin prevents him from leaving the house.

Inventing the Impossible: The Big Life Fix – Thursday 8:00pm on BBC2.
