This week Southend is graced with a visit from Hollywood actress, Lindsay Lohan, in Jamie Oliver and co-host Jimmy Doherty’s cookery show, Jamie and Jimmy’s Friday Night Feast.
On a blustery cold night Jamie keeps us cosy cooking up a venison dish with red wine and chocolate gravy – yes chocolate. Also on the menu tonight, a chicken pot pie – Lindsay gets her apron out as she tries her hand a recreating the dish inspired by her favourite New York restaurant with a hint of Italian Influence from her grandmother.
Whilst things are steaming up in the kitchen Jimmy heads outdoors to give spear fishing a try and the boys set out on a mission to get fresh black pudding back on the menu.
