Desperate times lie ahead for Chris Pratt’s all-action dinosaur handler, Owen Grady, as the fifth instalment of the Jurassic Park franchise stomps onto screens on Sky Cinema this week.
Bryce Dallas Howard stars alongside Chris Pratt as the returning Claire Dearing who is now a dinosaur-rights activist since losing her job at the park. Elsewhere, James Cromwell becomes Benjamin Lockwood – the other half of John Hammonds’ dinosaur cloning operation from the original Jurassic Park films – while Rafe Spall appears as Lockwood’s ambitious aide, Eli. Justice Smith and Daniella Pineda round off the main cast while the likes of Jeff Goldblum and Toby Jones also feature in cameo roles.
With an impending volcanic eruption threatening to wipe dinosaur life of the face of the earth once again, Jurassic World’s former head of Operations, Claire Dearing, enlist the help of the heroic Owen Grady to recapture and save as many of the creatures as possible. But when the heroic duo are betrayed by those higher up the chain of command, they face a race against time to wrestle back control of the situation before genetically modified dinosaurs are set loose on the world.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – Friday 8:00pm on Sky Cinema (Premiere).
