The music show returns for its 52nd series.
Joining Jools for the first episode of the run are Snow Patrol, who are promoting their latest album which has been seven years in the making; Detroit-raised soul singer Bettye Lavette; hip hop star Plan B; R&B group Tower of Power, who are celebrating 50 years performing together; and Northumberland singer-songwriter Jade Bird.
