First broadcast in 1978 and never seen since on UK TV, this Law and Order sparked an outcry at the time it was first air, with complaints from the police, the prison service and the government for the way the police were portrayed. This is evidenced in the first episode which sees Derek Martin (now more famous for playing Charlie Slater in EastEnders) as a bent copper determined to nick villains, regardless of whether the people involved were guilty or not. Also stars Ken Campbell.
