Channel 4’s critically-acclaimed bittersweet comedy series, Lee and Dean, returns to screens this week for its brand-new second season.
The series’ co-creators, Miles Chapman and Mark O’Sullivan, of course reprise their roles as childhood best friends Lee and Dean and are joined by other familiar faces from the show’s debut season including the likes of Camille Ucan’s Nikki and Anna Morris, who plays Pippa Bryce D’Souza. Stand-up comedian Cariad Lloyd and Colin Hoult join the cast for the new season.
After the after last season’s explosive stag and hen weekend finale, Lee and Dean are no longer friends and are now living completely separate lives – that is, until a funeral forces them right back together. Will the boys be able to put their differences aside and work through their problems, or is this the end of their friendship for good? Elsewhere, Pippa has made a fresh start, and Dean has a surprising new addition to his life.
Lee and Dean – Thursday 10:00pm on Channel 4.
