The trophy is in sight for the remaining contests, as few challenges lie between them and victory – this doesn’t mean however, that they aren’t going to be pushed to near breaking point.
Tonight the chefs have an early start, arriving at 4am at Billingsgate Fish Market where they must first source their ingredients, before moving on to Fishmongers’ Hall to cook a three-course fish lunch.
The contestants must each serve one dish of their own creation on the specially designed menu, and the two chefs who cook the most popular dishes will be exempt from the next cook-off.
Back on home territory, the remaining five amateurs have one hour and fifteen minutes to present a dish that will secure them a place in the last semi-final.
