As the 2017/18 Premier League season comes to a thrilling climax – all matches are available live at 3:00pm on BT Sport – Gary Lineker joins Ian Wright and Alan Shearer for the final time this season, reviewing the weekend’s action and all the best bits of this year’s football.
We two colossal – albeit indirect – battles at either end of the table as Chelsea face-off against Liverpool for a spot in the top 4 with the blue’s reliant on a win against Newcastle, while the reds go into the final day knowing that even a draw against 14th placed Brighton would be enough to see them qualify for next season’s Champions League. At the other end of the table, Swansea City and Southampton will both be hoping to avoid joining Stoke City and West Brom in relegation to the Championship. While the Saint’s goal difference is convincingly higher than the welsh team’s, they must navigate a tricky tie against this years runaway Premier League champions, Manchester City. Swansea, on the other hand, face the already relegated Stoke City in a match which they’ll hope could be their lifeboat back into the premier league next season.
Match of the Day – Sunday 10:30pm on BBC 1.
