For many Brits, Eric and Ernie are a core part of Christmas viewing. Now we get to see something that no-one in Britain has seen for 50 years.
Two previously lost episodes from their 1968 BBC TV series were discovered in a derelict cinema in Sierra Leone. These episodes have not only been restored, they have been transformed into colour, and are now being shown on TV for the first time in nearly half a century.
