on the day before Mother’s Day in 1993, Provisional IRA bomb attacks in Warrington killed two children. One of them, Tim Parry, was 12, and following his death his parents Wendy (Martin) and Colin (Daniel Mays) formed a friendship with Dublin housewife Susan McHugh (Vicky McClure) which lead to a peace campaign.
