MPs: behind Closed Doors

Let’s be honest – most of us don’t have a high opinion of politicians, so maybe this look at the work they do in their own constituencies might make us appreciate them more.

MPs: behind Closed Doors takes a behind-the-scenes look at the constituency surgeries of three MPs from three different political parties: Jacob Rees-Mogg from the Conservatives, who has been a keen supporter of Brexit; Naz Shah from Labour, who was temporarily suspended from the party earlier this year for expressing what views that were seen by some as anti-Semitic; and former deputy Prime Minister and leader of the Liberal Democrats Nick Clegg.

Rather than dealing with the problems of their parties, it should make for more interesting viewing see how they deal with needs of the locals that they serve.

MPs: behind Closed Doors is on Channel 5 at 21.00.
