Lesley Manville returns for a new series of the sitcom about a middle-aged widowed mother and her family.
Today it is Cathy’s 60th birthday and her family are taking her out for a celebratory lunch. Her family are still annoying as ever, and Michael (Peter Mullan) the friend of her late husband is still there to keep her company – although whether the two will ever get together is still up in the air.
