This two-part programme looks at one of the most difficult and controversial issues in medical care.
Set in Southampton Hospital, we follow the parents of a baby girl called Mimi. She was born with a heart defect that can be fixed, but will mean having to spend at least two years on life support. Thus a decision has to be made: should Mimi continue to life, or is it best to let her die rather than suffer a possibly painful life.
