Last year’s Great British Bake Off Winner Nadiya Hussain has taken the cutlery world by storm and her food journey continues with her new BBC show, Nadiya’s British Food Adventure.
Travelling the country she visits locations that hold true to British culture exploring how each tradition came about whilst of course, baking some of her favourite recipes along the way.
Tonight she makes cheese scones with chive butter, visits an asparagus farm using the crop she’s harvested to make an Indian five-spice stir fry and spends time with ex-fireman Turan T Turan. Having now retired he runs a cookery school dedicated to teaching people how to smoke their food.
