This show follows the efforts of an orangutan rescue centre as they try to reintroduce orangutans into the wild.
The Nyaru Menteng centre in Borneo is home to several orangutans that were either displaced from the natural environment or were kept as pets illegally. In this opening edition, the centre tries to retrain a pair of organutans that have issues with overeating.
