Tonight’s QI is good for those who are easily offended, as Sandi, Alan and their guests are going achingly PC this time.
Joining them are Gyles Brandreth, Jimmy Carr and Sally Phillips as they investigate the advantages of cut-out police constables, how to make pie-eating competitions more politically correct, and how deep Captain Nemo went under the sea.
It certainly seems that that it is Gyles’s show tonight. He certainly has a lot to get off his chest when talking about the time as a child when he went on a school trip where everyone pretended to be romantic poets in a utopian colony.
QI is on BBC Two at 22.00.
