The story of Queen Victoria relationship with her Indian servant, Abdul Karim, is one that has come under recent scrutiny and was the inspiration behind Stephen Frears 2017 film Victoria & Abdul.
This documentary features interviews with relatives of both Victoria’s household and Abdul Karim, as well as extracts from her diaries and journals.
