Next Sunday, 1st April, marks the centenary of the formation of the Royal Air Force.

Presented by actor Ewan McGregor and his pilot brother Colin, the duo attempt to tell the history of the RAF, re-create some of the most daring missions ever taken by the force, and meet with people who served in the RAF, including WWII Spitfire pilots, the last pilot involved in a dogfight in the Falklands, and current crew.

There is also a wide variety of aircraft on display too, from WWI biplanes to supersonic Typhoons.

RAF at 100 is on BBC One at 20.30.
