BBC’s brand new paranormal drama series reaches its thrilling climax this week with the 6th and final episode. Starring Lydia Wilson as main character Matilda, the series directed by Kris Mrksa tells the story of a young woman linked by a spate of brutal suicides, the disappearance of a child from a small town in Wales 20 years ago and the increasing unsettling set of paranormal experiences she faces. Joel Fry, James Frecheville and Claire Rushbrook co-star.
After last week’s episode – shown through Hal’s eyes – injected some much needed tension and excitement, we return to Tilly’s viewpoint in the finale. With Davey alone and vulnerable without his parents to protect him, Matilda fears for his safety amidst the latest developments and takes matters into her own hands. Sean meanwhile, turns up to Dean House severely injured with a warning that Tilly is in mortal danger and must leave before it’s too late. A worried Trudy rues her harsh words to Hal following the explosive events of last episode and Graves begins to become wise to Kendrick, suspecting him of involvement in the mystery while wondering whether Matilda was in fact telling the truth all along.
