Part two of five and the candidates of SAS: Who Dares Wins, have been whittled from 25 to 17 with such speed that you have to wonder why these guys put themselves forward in the first place. Tonight, the Directing Staff want to learn how many of the candidates can control their aggression. But how can you measure that? Well, roll up, roll up it’s time for an impromptu boxing match (or milling as it’s known in some branches of the services). Recruits are pitted against each other (with gloves, of course) and instructed to knock ten bells out of each other and that’s followed with a brutal game of ‘murderball’, which leads the DS to focus their attention on two recruits: one who sees red at the flick of a switch and another who they believe is holding himself back.
And as if that’s not enough in 35 degree heat and 90% humidity, lead instructor Ant Middleton invites the recruits to join him for another fearsome jungle ‘sickener’ – a non-stop beasting that will end only when four more recruits throw in the towel. Brutal!
SAS: Who Dares Wins is on C4 tonight at 9pm.
