In this “living-history” documentary, 14 candidates attempt to go through 1940s military training.

These candidates are being put through the Student Assessment Board, a four-day series of mental and physical tests that was used to recruit people into the Special Operations Executive, the most covert of all the British military organisations that was set up by Winston Churchill.
