Preview – Six Nations: France vs Wales

Wales vs France Rugby Union

Warren Gatland’s Welsh contingent kick this year’s Six Nations championship off with a trip to Paris where they’ll take on Jacques Brunel’s French team on Friday evening.

Wales will be looking to kick head coach Gatland’s final campaign in charge off in strong style with a tenth consecutive win over a much-changed French side which sees 19-year-old Romain Ntamack start in place of the talismanic Mathieu Bastareaud. The visitors are not without changes themselves, however, with Tomos Williams, Rob Evans and Josh Navidi replacing Gareth Davies, Nicky Smith and Ellis Jenkins respectively.

John Inverdale presents BBC One’s live coverage of the match from 7:25pm while the match itself is poised to begin half an hour later at 8:00pm.
