The final of the Masters will see someone taking over the title from the current champion.
Ronnie O’Sullivan, who won the title two years in a row, got knocked out Mark Allen in the quarter-finals. Allen has indeed made it to the final, so the trophy could well end up going to Northern Ireland. Up against him is Kyren Wilson of England, meaning that a new name will go on the trophy.
Snooker: The Masters is on BBC Two at 13.00 and 19.00.
