Northern Ireland’s Mark Allen begins the defence of his Masters title this afternoon.
After losing the UK Championship to Ronnie O’Sullivan last month, Allen begins as the No. 1 seed going into this tournament as he is the current holder. He starts off by taking on Belgium’s Luca Brecel in the first round, in a repeat of last year when Allen won 6-3. Later cover only on the BBC Red Button sees the match between John Higgins and Ryan Day.
