Since the BBC’s foolishly axed Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle back in 2016, the alternative comic has been touring the country with his latest stand-up show.
The BBC is broadcasting the entire show, at a suitably late time. The show was intended to be about people’s over-exposure to online content, but as he toured Brexit happened and Trump was elected. Given Brexit, which he is against, it is interesting to note that this recording from last April took place in Southend, which voted in favour of it.
Stewart Lee: Content Provider is on BBC Two at 22.45.
