Continuing with the New Year, new me hype, ITV’s Sugar Free Farm returns for its second series, sending seven celebrities to a farm for a sugar detox and week of hard labour.
Although they range is height, size and weight there is one thing all seven have in common, their diets are atrocious and they’re addicted to sugar. After just 24 hours it looks like the celebs might have bit of a bit more than they can chew with TOWIE star Gemma Collins, starved of her sugar fix, struggling with the work load.
Told they need to work hard to earn their healthy meals, TV presenter Alison Hammond, comedian Joe Pasquale, former MP Ann Widdecombe, actor Peter Davison, TOWIE’s Gemma Collins and father-son dance duo Stavros Flatley are put to the challenge at a country farm in Hampshire – but the lack of sugar, refined carbs and processed fats is too much and leads to one celebrity being carted off by paramedics suffering from the withdrawal.
