Supertroopers 2

Fired for their previous shenanigans, the eponymous all-American heroes crash back onto screen after being offered a shot at redemption – and this time it involves heading north into a small-town in Canada.

The original comic quintet – made up of Jay Chandrasekha’s “Thorny”, Paul Soter’s Foster, Steve Lemme’s “Mac”, Erik Stolhanske’s “Rabbit” and Kevin Heffernan’s “Rod” – find themselves struggling to adapt to live outside of the force until they get a surprise call from their former-boss, played by Brian Cox. Rob Lowe, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Will Sasso make up the Canadian cohort joining the cast in this 2018 sequel.

After getting Fred Savage killed in a ride-along incident, Mac and his team find themselves jobless and looking for work outside of the police force. Their fortunes change, however, when they get a call from Captain O’Hagan. The only catch – they’ll have to provide law enforcement for a French-Canadian town that’s transitioning to U.S. sovereignty. Their unconventional methods soon get put to the test when they encounter a smarmy mayor, mischievous Mounties, a smuggling ring and a 1,300-pound bear.

Supertroopers 2 – Friday 10:00pm on Sky Premiere.
