Channel 5’s reality series The Bachelor – inspired by the US programme of the same name – gets a reboot this week as it returns to screens with a brand-new cast of hopeful single ladies on Monday evening.
The new season, presented by TV personality Mark Wright, sees 17 new British singletons vying for the attention and affections of hunky personal trainer Alex Marks who becomes the series’ titular bachelor. But when the competition between the girls begins to heat up and the lines between lust and loyalties become blurred, expect explosive drama, desire and everything in between.
In tonight’s episode, it’s time for introductions as we meet all 17 new girls and the bachelor himself, Alex. This year however, the first impressions between contestants will have to wait as the girls are served a curve-ball before even meeting the hunky-Londoner.
