Preview – The BAFTA Film Awards 2017

BAFTA awards

Joanna Lumley is the new host of the film awards. Whether British talent will shine through in this year’s awards remains to be seen.

We already know that Ridley Scott is to be given the BAFTA Fellowship, while the award for “Outstanding British Film” is between Darkest Hour, The Death of Stalin, God’s Own Country, Lady Macbeth, Paddington 2 and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. However, it is The Shape of Water that is up for the most awards, with 12 nominations overall.

Remember the ceremony is not live, so if you want to know who has won ASAP you should look online.

The BAFTA Film Awards 2017 is on BBC One at 21.00.
