A heart-warming story about brotherhood comes to the fore in Dreamworks’ 2017 family animation, The Boss Baby. Taking on the visage of new born baby-turned-CEO of Baby Corp., Theodore Templeton, Alec Baldwin stars alongside Lisa Kudrow, Jimmy Kimmel and Steve Buscemi in a film which is sure to engross the kids and bring the feel-good factor back around for the adults.
After a mysterious suited baby (Baldwin) arrives at his house, and with his parents’ attention now in its unbreakable hold, seven year old Tim Templeton (Miles Bakshi) decides to investigate further – while struggling to come to terms with the fact that he may not be the object of his parents’ affection, he starts to believe the baby is hatching a nefarious plot beneath their very roof. Templeton is proven right – sort of – as its revealed that the new “boss baby” as he likes to call himself is in fact the CEO of a magical company run by babies to ensure they are always the cutest things in people minds.
The Boss Baby has been forced into an undercover operation however as the resurgence of puppies, who are stealing the cuteness-spotlight from babies, is threatening to topple the company meaning all of its baby employees will age as they would normally and be forced to live a normal family life – something which both brother’s protest. Putting their rivalries aside, the boys must work together to prevent a shadowy villains plan to topple Baby Corps. forever – or comes to terms with having to live, love and war with each other for the rest of their lives.
