Often horrific acts of violence that never make it to the public ears, but this four-part documentary filmed over the course of a year follows Manchester’s murder detectives and they work on a number of complex cases.
Tonight the team face the discovery of a burnt body in a homeless camp close to the city centre. Detective Superintendent Jon Chadwick, head of MIT, takes on the case but with no CCTV and no witnesses, the team has little to go on.
Also in this episode, another case comes into MIT. A woman is the victim of a horrific petrol bomb attack in her own home.
