Preview – The FA Cup: Fifth Round

FA Cup

This round has already made history, and more could be made thanks to the two non-league sides which now have a chance of making the quarter-finals.

To make things ever more exciting, both of these teams are facing Premier League opposition. The first match sees Lincoln City travelling away to Burnley. But arguably the final match is the biggest of them all, and also possibly the oddest London derby ever, as Sutton United are playing at home to Arsenal.

Another interesting element of this round is that all of the Premier League teams are being kept separate, with each one facing a lower league side. We might end up with all eight Sixth Round spots going to the top flight – or maybe none at all if there is a (unlikely) giant killing spree.

Burnley v Lincoln City is on BT Sport 2 at 12.00 (kick-off 12.30)
